This Airbnb property was transformed from a large beige beach house, stuck in the 90’s with no personality or warmth and limited furnishings and facilities.  We gave it a complete makeover as well as a full kit-out ready to rent.  The owner didn’t have to lift a finger.

A beautiful, beach/ tribal theme was created, to give it colour and warmth, to complement the beach suburb and to stand-out online.  The house was also furnished to suit the owner and his large family as well as to appeal to a similar demographic rental market. A completely new paint job with a fun palette was introduced whilst new flooring replaced the old stained carpet in the major living areas. The kitchen was updated with:

  • contemporary handmade Spanish tiles

  • a fresh reconstituted stone bench top

  • funky lighting

  • painted cupboards

  • new appliances and cooking utensils

We brought in beautiful new furnishings with attention to detail, including our signature ‘bespoke artwork surfboard’ piece as well as new amenities, linens, white goods and a table tennis table.  A wood fire heater now creates warmth and a lovely ambiance, a bonus for winter stays.

The garden was refreshed and the cubby house updated.  The Mt Martha beach house is now completely transformed ready for the owner or renters to walk straight in and enjoy.
